Photo by siilurI attended a training today at a perfectly fine —  if unremarkable — meeting space at a local county park. During the session on networking, the trainer pointed out a plaque that hung on the wall in the main meeting room. It read:

Truly, this is the People’s Paradise.
Here great and small shout out contentedly;
Here I am human, here human I can be.

–Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

The quote seemed to transform the simple space, ennobling it somehow, and drew attention to the park’s purpose of being open to the public at large.

I believe deeply that inspiration can come at odd times and in random forms. It can be either subtle or profound. We just have to let ourselves be open to receive it.
