Hope Floats

I’ve been feeling blue lately. My sister’s been in the hospital (she’s out now and doing much better). I’m tired of being single. And I turn 41 in a few weeks.

So while I’ve been busy earning my sulking merit badge, I’ve also been surfing the interwebs looking for distraction. That’s when I came across a gem of a project called Little Drifters — tiny boats made out of natural materials.

There’s just something so joyful about these ephemeral little ships. They serve no practical purpose, other than to express creativity and make people smile, which (if I think about it) is purpose enough.
